Women’s Story Day: featuring SOR is a live storytelling experience where myself and a cast of women take the stage and share the stories we carry that we are told to keep quiet. You know all the things we are told to bury…The heartbreak. The loss. The doubt. The desires. The HUNGER. The truth.

This is the kind of storytelling that makes you hold your breath and then exhale something you didn’t know you were carrying.

It’s the kind of storytelling that cracks your own voice open… so that your own desires, hunger, truth come tumbling out. These women’s voices will stir you in the most profound ways. Because of that, we are moving into a guided writing session right after the stories are told. We’re creating a space for you to connect to your own voice and stories. To write down what is real. To sit with it. To share, if you wish. To remember what matters to you.

There will be time for reflection, conversation, and the kind of connection that happens when women stop performing and start being real with each other.

How much permission and goodness do we get when the masks come off?!

This is a completely free event.

Yup. This is a gifted event.

It’s happening because SOR has partnered with Take Action LA to create a space for our communities that supports women’s mental and emotional well-being.

This is about remembering that our voices matter.

It’s about being witnessed.

It’s about naming what we feel, what we know, what we want.

I can’t wait to be in the room with women who show up for this.

We have so many special things planned.

This is a 3 hour experience that includes women getting on the stage, guided writing, conversation- this is fuel for our souls.
